『Bitter Bones』は、過去の恋人から受けた裏切りの痛みと美しさを探求した、Rossatornによる詩集です。最初に原稿を見せてもらったとき、著者から黒いトーンの紙を使いたいという要望がありました。スクリーン印刷工房でもあり出版社でもある私たちは、そのアイデアをさらに発展させるため、濃度の異なる複数の黒い紙を使うことを提案しました。タイトル『Bitter Bones』が示すとおり、ページをめくり中心へ進むほど、まるで骨に染み込んでいくように黒の深度が高くなっていきます。
表紙にはわずかなテクスチャを持つ「エースボールブラックF」を使用し、1冊1冊すべてに手作業で端を焦がす加工を施しました。怒りを投影する触覚的なディテールである一方で、過去からの解放を象徴しています。表紙を開くと、見返しの「NTラシャ　黒」から始まり、テキスト部分はより深みのある「NTラシャ　漆黒」へと移行します。この紙の変化が、詩で鮮烈に表現されている苦しさと感情の深みを支えています。（The Archivistさん）

Bitter Bones is a poetry collection by Rossatorn that explores the pain and beauty of betrayal by a former lover. When the author first shared the manuscript with us, she expressed a desire to use black-toned paper if possible. As screen printers and publishers, we proposed developing this idea further by using multiple shades of black paper—gradually deepening toward the center of the book, sinking into the “bones,” in line with the title Bitter Bones.
The cover is printed on Ace Board Black, chosen for its subtle surface texture, with each copy featuring burned edges—adding a tactile detail that reflects anger while also symbolizing release and letting go. As readers move inward, the darkness intensifies, beginning with a black NT Rasha endpaper, then transitioning into the poems printed on the deeper black of NT Rasha Shikkoku, reinforcing the bitterness and emotional depth expressed so vividly in the writing.
