シンガポールのデザイナー SIEWさんにご用途を教えていただきました。

用途: グリーティングカード

選んだ理由: 「Cartd」はねじれを使ったグリーティングカードのコレクションです。このコレクションを通して、単に平面の物体としてではなく、簡単なねじれを入れることで、グリーティングカードが3次元的な物体になることを見てもらえればと思います。この3点は、コレクションの最初のシリーズ「SHAPES」です。
カードを3次元に開いた状態で見たときに、太陽系や山脈、岩々が思い浮かぶでしょうか？すべてはあなたの想像力次第です。

ビオトープGA-FSは厚すぎず非常に丈夫で、軽いですがある程度の耐久性があるため、パッケージなどの用途に適していると思います。これを念頭に置いて、カードの試作時に他の紙と一緒に候補に挙げました。最終的にビオトープGA-FSを選択したのは、軽いねじれに耐えて、3次元のディスプレイでも破れることなく意図した通りの結果を出せたからです。（SIEWさん）

Cartd is a collection of greeting cards with a twist. With this collection, we hope for people to see a greeting card not just as a flat object, but one that can become three-dimensional with a simple twisting motion of the material. The first series in this collection is SHAPES.
Do the cards bring to mind the solar system, mountains or rocks when displayed in three-dimension? It is all up to your imagination.

BIOTOPE GA-FS is not too thick, its construct is very strong and thus is suited for use in things like packaging where weight is ideally light, but where the material has some durability. With this in mind, we shortlisted BIOTOPE GA-FS alongside other papers when prototyping for the cards. We ultimately selected BIOTOPE GA-FS because it was able to withstand some light twisting to achieve the intended outcome during 3D-display, without tearing.（SIEW）
