- 私の作品は日本の禅の庭園とデンマークの野原からインスピレーションを得ています。光と影を捉えることで、作品の中で鑑賞者に自然の中にいるのと同じように目を楽しませ穏やかさを感じてほしいと思っています。竹尾の紙は自然な感触を表現するのに非常に適しています。
「新だん紙」は、テキスタイルのような風合いと繊維の長さで選びました。紙が割れることなくカットすることができます。また、紙の表面も自然な風合いで良い触感を生み出しています。（Amanda Betzさん）

My artworks are inspired by the japanese zen gardens and the danish fields. Trying to grasp light and shadow and letting the eye wonder within the artwork as in nature to create a calmness for the viewer. The Takeo paper is quite perfect to manifest the natural feel and yet being precise.
I have chosen Shin-Danshi because it has a textile feel and has long fibers which allows me to cut without cracking the paper. The surface also has a great natural character which create a nice tactility.
